Long Project Log Lots of Pics (56k no way)
Well I decided to do a ls motor swap because Rostr02 (h-t member) had an extra one just laying around. The car has been in the garage since Nov. 04.
Here is the car just waiting to be transformed.

And a couple hours later

Some parts from Rostr02. The rotors were cleaned by SixxT9 because he got bored.

Then after a period....well a long period of freezing cold weather and snow, it snowed off and on all the way up until may in pittsburgh. I got back to working on the car. I decided to rattle can my bay flat black and also hide some wires and move the fuse box.

I bought the wrong clutch so I got a little upset, but it's ok because my friend has a 91 teggy and he'll be buying that from me.

The 92-93 clutch is on the right with the 90-91 on the left.

After 5 hours of working on the car I finally get the tranny on and the motor in the bay by myself. Would've asked brojo but he was at school and my boy SixxT9 moved to fl.
Test fitment of the new clutch. Didn't wanna take any chances of the clutch not fitting.

How I got the motor to stay even so I could mount the tranny.

I'll probably be working on the car again come sunday to mount the motor up. And also finish the wiring, unless I have to work on my profolio. Graduating this Sept (nice time to start a car project
)
I still have to get axles, rear spindles, hubs, e-brake cable, and intermediate shaft.
Right now I'm almost broke.
Thanks for the help Rostr02, SixxT9, Cbaracing (for answering all of my annoying questions) and Brojo.

Co-worker of mine- Hey John when is your car gonna be on the road
Boss- Next year.
Me- I just got my clutch in today so now I only need a few more parts.
It sucks being the only one at my job that knows or has been thru what I'm doing. O well it's an expensive hobby and I love it.

I'll have some more pictures up on sat. and hopefully some more work maybe sat night or sunday afternoon.

give me a holla. Oh and thanks for the lump..I'll give a good home.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Glad I could help a fellow crx owner out.
I've got some more pictures that I just snapped before I had to catch the bus. Yeah the crx is my DD so I've gotta catch the bus everywhere. O well pitt pass equals free bus right.

Still in the process of doing that wiring, and putting the fuse box somewhere in that mess.

Quick question for those that have done the fuse box relocation, did you reuse the panel that covers the fuse box and also did you use that big black box that has the air blow out the drivers side vents and such?
TIA

Thanks man. I've gotten a little more done and I'm going to be working on it some more this weekend. Here's a picture of it finally mounted up.

All I have left is to get the wiring harness back and the parts from mr. beeks and it should be ready to hit the streets. Hopefully nothing goes wrong. (crosses fingers)

Just read up and saw the new pics. Nice to see what you've been blabbing about for the past few days. You need to find a small sledge though to make the dents for the alternator easier (since i think the rotors have been thrown out by now). Hell... go for a big sledge and stand over that bitch and beat the **** outta it like it owes you money.

. I promised my brother last year that he would see his friends graduate this year and the time has come and it's coming to the wire. O well if the car isn't up I'm paying for him to go down. (what are big brothers for)

Man I've gotta make that dent bigger. I'm about to just dremel out a square for it to fit. O well I'll be denting or cutting today seeing how Chaos needs a new rad put in his car. (little does he know that he will be doing it himself.)

Haha... it might not get put in then if thats the case. Did "Chaos" ever sign up on HT yet? Or is he in the "Brojo" phase of non-ht member that gets an alias??? Oh and be careful with that dremmel... we all know that your skills arent up to par with mine yet
Post up pics of either the dent or the cut when you finish
