cliff notes:My normal idle is about 800-900 and i hit a dip now i idle at 400-500

anyone? i just checked my header and where the header and the cat connects it's not closed(tightend from the top which means my header got bent where it connects. can that cause my idle to go down since it's leaking air from that part.?
I'm not sure about the header, but I would check my hoses to make sure nothing came apart. Also, check your throttle cable. It may be loose or out of adjustment.

Like I said, it's most likely a vacuum line. If everything was fine before the bump, then just check to make sure everything is connected.
Also, check the TB as already mentioned. If everything is fine, just adjust the idle up a bit with the idle screw and leave it be!

i was messing with the vac cables, and it threw me a code for the Cel 3 - MAP
so it's prolly already going out on me, but the check engine light went on then i turned off the car and turned it back on and i got no cel-3 no more...well, ima have to just keep messin with it and like u said ima adjust that idle screw a bit higher thanks guys!

I don't think you can't get rid of a code by turning the car on and off. If you check the ecu it will still be blinking. Code 3 is a map sensor. That will affect you idle.
Here's the list of codes:

this is how it went, yes my idle is messed up i idle at 500 ish and i used to idle at 800-900. i tried what that guys had said by turning off my car and turning it back on well, it worked but, the ecu still throws a code 3- MAP. so i may need a new MAP sensor, how much do these usually go for? it's for a b16a keep that in mind
The map sensor is on the fire wall. Any map sensor from a 88-95 civic will do. To clear the code, you can disconnect the battery or the ecu.
i have a map sensor i can sell you.. it's not the kind that mounts to the firewall it's the kind that bolts to the throttle body, but it still works.. i had it in my b16a ef for a little while.
