Rought idle
Hi guys!
I'm having nasty problem with my EK4 Civic B16A2. When I fire up the car, motor runs really bad - on just 2 or 3 cylinders. After a few minutes somehow manages to run on all 4. Also it's VERY hard to start the engine. Without pressing the gas pedal the engine is just cranking forever.
I checked all 4 spark plug cables for damage (none found) and resistency check. Cable #1 (the shortest) - 6k Ohms, cable #2 - 8k Ohms, cable #3 - 10k Ohms and cable #4 (the longest) 12k Ohms. I also replaced all four spark plugs with new ones. Also did the injector cleaning. Fuel pressure is OK.
Could it be the distributor? The rotor? On eye expection looks OK. I don't get CEL. I noticed that the problem occurs when I trash the car on previously day.
edit: Oh, the car otherwise runs great. Good MPG

Well I trash it properly and healthy
Anyhow, today I got the same problem. But the car didn't start at all. When I gently tapped the injectors with a screwdriver the car fired up instantly. My guess is on the injectors but I'll also check the O2 sensor.
Thanks!
