Default Best way to remove paint off of an I/C?

I bought a kit and the i/c has been sprayed black, I want it to be the regular color. What is the best way to remove the paint, or should I just shoot it with some silver?

I remember seeing two kinds, stuff that said aluminum safe (more $$) and the other which didn't.

i received a starion i/c once painted in this nasty silver color...

i sprayed it down with aircraft paint remover and it was a PITA to remove all the paint scraps from the fins.

good luck.

[edit:: darn, must have used it wrong [/sarcasm] not sure how wrong you can spray something but ok... ]

^ you must have used it wrong. Aircraft remover + hose = clean off any painted surface.
