I replaced the timing belt tensioner, and reset the cam and ignition timing (again). It looks spot on to me, the up arrows point up, and the marks on either side of the cam gears line up with the head.
With the new tensioner, the belt is REALLY tight, I think overly tight. Is this possible??? its making a blower-esque whine when I rev it... kinda cool sounding, but i don't think its good.
I did all that above in order to solve a misfiring problem. I checked out the ignition system, and all seems to be ok. Its still misfiring, pretty badly. I also swapped ECUs, but no luck. I think the only left is fuel. anyone else have a similar problem or any ideas??? THANKS!

I know what your going through. I've struggled with this problem for the past few days. Each cam in your ZC has a spot where an open end wrench can be attached. The arrows on the cam gears will not point exactly up. Mine leaned slightly toward the front of the car. The cam lobes also have a line on them. I matched this line up with the arrows that point toward the cam gear. You will need someone to help you hold the cams once the are properly positioned. There should also be about 12 teeth on the belt between the cam gears. Its very frustrating but take your time. I hope this advice will help you.
