Whose going to NJ this weekend?
here are some directional help in getting there:
To Camden Lot #7
From Philadelphia: Take the Benjamin Franklin Bridge to New Jersey. Stay in the right lanes as you cross the bridge. Make the first right turn at the foot of the bridge. Travel one block to Cooper St. and make a right turn. Follow Cooper St. toward the Delaware River until you reach the lot.
From New Jersey: Take Rt. 70 or Rt. 38 to Admiral Wilson Blvd. And the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. As you approach the bridge on the boulevard, take the "Last Exit Before Tolls." Go straight through 4 traffic lights, then make a left turn onto a four lane bridge. As soon as you cross the bridge, make a right turn onto Cooper St. Follow Cooper St. toward the Delaware River until you reach the lot.
hope this helps,
aj

The map does not show where the lot is. That start is in the wrong place. Just follow signs to Campbell field. The lot is right on the river and right under and just to the South of the Ben Franklin bridge.
There's lots of construction so the route you take to get there changes a little each time.

Yeah.. that map is wrong..
I'll probably be there, squeeling away on my tires.. unless I can find it in me to resist one more puff on the pipe..

Tom,
are you gonna be running your car Saturday?
also, sorry about the directions guys. I type in my home address for the starting position, and then just typed in cooper street for the destination. The road leading up to cooper st. then makes a left instead of a right. You want to make a right on cooper street and go all the way down to the end.
that probably didn't help anybody,
I'm retarded....

I'm sure there will be. It's hard to find an auto-x with no CRXs there. I'm still holding out a smidgeon of hope that I will have mine back from the shop for this weekend, but it's HIGHLY unlikely.
Matt
which spot will that be.. I hopefully will have my car back (jdm r swap), cant wait to cross that f*cker. But if not, my corvette will do. Anyhow, all you honda tech people look for my blue 2000 vette or my silver teg. Would like to meet some fellow Honda Tech. BTW my name is Mike.
gsober: just take 95 up to Philly and go across the Ben Franklin bridge. immediately after you get off the bridge you'll want to take the first right (the ~90 degree turn is what I'm calling the right.. just getting to the right side of the little median doesn't count as the turn
). Take that road until it dead-ends into cooper (two blocks, I think) and go right (it's the only way you can go there..)... take Cooper all the way until it ends (10 or so blocks?) and you're there. Of course, there is a ton of construction on Cooper in that short distance, so take it slow (if you're on coilovers, don't go for the "slammed look"
), and there might be 15 thousand detours and such.. just keep trying to get to the river. As it was said.. it's next to Campbell's Stadium, where some minor league team (RiverRats?) plays.. and it's right next to the bridge.
At that time of the morning, the Camden locals aren't really awake yet, so it's not that dangerous an area to drive around in..
Also, there tends to be a cop or two, as the parade of sports cars trickling into the lot occasionally attracts their attention.

Registration opens at 8am.. closes at 9:30am. First car off scheduled for 10am. (heh!
) Get there early to walk the course as much as you need to.. last week there were too many O/C.. lots of red flags thrown because people were _WAY_ lost.. if you're rusty and have trouble following the course, please ask for an instructor ride-along. Be prepared to stay all day.. last time we had almost 140 cars which is about twice what the winter series usually brings..
