1. probably bad for the engine
2. no sponsorship here, though usually you get parts at a discount
3. high enough to get jack stands under the car and/or get a drain pan under the engine

1. I doubt it really does anything
2. No sponsorship ( I wish), I just get stuff from the sponsers here.
3. You should have enough to be able to get a pan under there.

#1 & 3 was answered twice so a third echo wont help
#2 - I can get one, but since I don't really listen to music, this potential sponsor is useless to me.

yshi - who would only accept sponsorship from companies that I use and truly believe in

Dude buy jackstands. Don't be getting under your car on a crappy jack only. It's worth the money and peace of mind so you don't hurt or kill yourself

I think the 13 inches is from the jack plat, so tack on another 3 for the height of the jack. While you have the car on stands, you might as well jack the rear and rotate the tires. I dont know about you guys, but I jack mine in the rear by the tow hook in the middle.

Now that I got my impact for xmas, I rotate my tires every chance I get. After busting my knuckles doing my brakes on the winter beast, the next day my girlfriend went out and bought me an air compressor and toys. Deep well impact sockets are cool, thanks Jen.

Another reason they tell you to use jack stands is that when you try to place the pan to drain the oil into, you dont want the jack in the way. I usually leave the jack there with the jack stands as a precationary backup. When the oil drains on the jack, you'll be upset to say the least. Took me 5 minutes to jack/drain the oil in the truck and 30 minutes to clean the oil off the driveway & another 10 to get the oil off my hands from before mentioned mess.

enjoy....josh
