i was wondering if its normal or my engine fucked up allready..... ive notices recently that my engine hot too quick... i mean very hot and as soon as i open the hood bunch of hot air comes out....any ideas on the problem? or is it just normal
yeah check the hoses. i had that problem before. i couldnt not find where it leaked for the life of me. but i know it was leaking from somewhere. so i just flushed the radiator and refilled. problem never came back.

If you keep driving around like this, your head may warp due to the intense heat that shouldn't be occurring. Diagnose your problem while your motor is still ok...it may save you a lot of money
I got a warped head myself. I bought the car & the previous owner had a blown head gasket & a few coolant leaks (which I went to mechanic before i even bought the car & he said it was A ok), so I had Acura fix everything & the bill came to $1010.86, to machine the head, change the head gasket, replace a few hoses thermostat etc.
is your car overheating? the advices look like they are pointing at an over heating car. from what i read, youre just experiencing heat rising out of your hood. its normal for you to feel heat coming out from your engine bay when you open up your hood. after all, heat rises. if you dont have aheat shield on your header, there is more heat underneath the hood.

to that how bout using MacGyvers method and put raw eggs in it lol Dont tell someone to use that sheet when he could actually have a serious problem like the water pump.

seriously...might be kinda nice when i'm in arizona for the summer. the outside temp tends to be about 30 degrees higher than what the car is normally run in. is this something that is poured into your coolant reservoir?

Actually you drain out your coolant from the radiator and block. You pour the water wetter in the radiator and fill the remaining with distilled or purified water. It has anticorrosive agents so dont worry about rust.

Theres a demo on it.

i've been wondering about this also. the other day i was just warming up my motor and it started to get really hot. within 5 minutes the radiator was burning hot and both the top and bottom radiator hose were really hot. ins't the bottom hose suppose to be a little cooler then the top hose? is this normal becaues my brothers b16 motor doesn't do this.

The bottom hose will feel just as hot as the the top hose after the car has warmed up. IMO, I wouldn't pay too much attention to how hot the hoses and radiator feel. The temp gauge is the thing to pay attention to.
