91 crx hf..d16z6..dc 4-1 header...aem intake...ran 16.2..had a badd launch...what cha think??

 

i'm gonna wing it and guess you could get consistent mid 15's with that setup.

practice makes perfect. it's always fun going to the track anyway right?

 

That is pretty slow for the setup. Mid to low 15's w/ a d16z6 in an hf are possible with a good launch. Post your timeslips with the 60' numbers so we can see how your launch numbers look.

 

yea i would say that is super slow....if a crx si with just a z6 can reach low 15s an HF with a z6 could run low 15s high 14s....i have seen some HFs with z6 adn I/H/E run low 14s....so im thinking your launch was the suck

i have a 90 crx si z6'd and i ran a 15.3
thing is that was with a dx tranny..haven't gone back since i got another si tranny
mods are:
header, intake, exhaust/no cat, apr, cam gear, act 8lb flywheel, act clutch, decent street tires

so yeah you had a slow run. no doubt i'd be in the 14's now with this tranny
