Default Went to good ol Honda today :)

Well as you guys know im been trying to figure out why my damn tranny makes a whining noise throughout all gears and gets louder with speed/rpm...I went to honda today and talked to a guy named Dwayne (fast94gsr recommended him thanks bro) and as soon as we drove in my car and he listened to it he told me what it was...he said that when I missed that shift on the track i must've bent my FD shaft and messed up my FD gear....he said he's had a car with the same noise they replaced the FD shaft and gear and bearings and it was fixed.....as you all know I've replaced all my bearings already..this sounds legit right??

anything is possible... but there is an easy (that is, once your tranny is in pieces) way to check...

put the countershaft on live centers, and check it for straightness with a dial indicator.
