Default Dissappointing track times

Well, I took the new car to Moroso tonite to see what I could pull out of it. I only got 3 runs. 2 @ 10psi and the last @ 12 which i just fubared.

this was the best pass of the nite

R/T......... .601
60ft......... 2.437 (i know... it sucks but bare with me... i was on 17" street tires)
330......... 6.146
1/8......... 9.091
MPH........ 84.61
1000....... 11.631
1/4......... 13.749
MPH........ 107.33

i'm more dissappointed with the trap speeds than anything else

here's the setup:
sleeved 81mm gsr, 9:1 je's, eagle rods
skunk2 im
drag kit w/ sc61 & tial w/g
550cc injectors + uberdata (tuned last year)
2.5" downpipe + 2.4" greddy evo exhaust (came with the car... haven't had a chance to change it yet)
greddy profec b spec 2 with the start boost set @ 0(similar to the balance on the old profec's)

I was expecting a higher trap... maybe 110ish. maybe i'm asking for too much. also this was in a full weight ex coupe if that makes that much of a difference. i'll post a vid 2morrow

considering you were on 17" wheels w/ street tires, dont take it so bad.

next time go prepared and leave the excuses at home.

The traps really aren't all that terrible for the first time out. The 60's could use some work though . You would have hung right with my sohc

well like i have been telling u since u bought the car the exhaust is waaaaaaay to small for that turbo. and the car needs to be re-tuned badly. even with all that 12psi for that turbo is nothing. and for the people saying that he needs slicks, ur right he does....but the 13 inch disc are getting in his way.

yah not too worried bout the ET's... i wasn't expecting much better ETs. But I was expecting a lil higher trap. we'll see. I'm most likely going back in a week but this time with a 3" exhaust. and probably my 22x8x15 slicks hehe.

for that amount of boost i think that traps about right, unless your car makes a real good amount of hp at the boost level.get that thing retuned at more boost and go on slicks, that sc61 is not working yet lol!!good luck!

You know what the best idea is.... Gut the car completely and run big slicks

IMO 10-12 PSI isn't enough on 9:1. Get it re-tuned for about 18psi and then run it. You have a sleved block with forged internals... take advantage
