drum wont fit on right side????
92 accord, 4dr LX sed.
Replaces, brake hoses, lines, wheel cylinders, shoes.
When tried to install drums, they wouldnt slide on, had a shop machine them, now only the left side drum slides on, the right side drum slides on very very hard, no wheel spin at all.
Also, I detected a leak in the brake line, right above the fuel tank on the right side.

what you need to do is adjust the pads, to do that, from the my best memory, is there is a piece in the upper center inbetween the pads, and you need to twist that piece as to bring in the pads a little bit until you can fit the drum on, but just enough so it will slide on with a bit of resistance,
i hope that helps!!!!!

If you have made sure that the automatic adjuster is all the way in make sure you back off the park brake. The cable adjustment should be in the base of the console. Back the lock nut off and loosen the adjusting nut a few turns until the drum slides on, then lock the locking nut.

no man keep machining drums is not the right answer assuming you got all the right parts it has to be since you put it together you are overlooking something,,,wheel cylinder piston popped slightly out?? drum was in there before you put new parts ...
turned out that the parking brake cable was jammed about 5mm, it wouldnt move. I had to oull on it quite hard to get to slacken up and move again, drum fits fine now.
The brake line to the right side was rusted very badly and so when I installed a new hose and line to the wheel cylinder, the line directly above the fuel tank began to leak. Well I wasnt about to take it to a shop and have the guy remove the tank, then charge me to put in a new hard line.
I cut off the brake line from the rear-left side (below fuel panel) and and sliced in a compression union and bent up my own line that I ran behind the fuel tank over the exhaust pipe and by using another compression fitting, ran the line directly to the rubber hose in the stock location.
No leaks wat-so-ever, but I need to bleed the brakes, feels very soft, pedal has to be pressed all the way to the floor to stop and other times if I pump the brakes while braking, it feels normal.
Well thanks for the ideas, lead me to the parking brake cable issue.
