Default Boosting 1991 LX - d16z6 or MPFI d15b2?

I'm looking at getting a 91 LX sedan in mint condition, 120k miles - basicly a daily driven sleeper, and a cheap first boost project. My friend got a teg with a jdm front that had a d16z6 in it. He's swapping the b18b1 from his other beatup teg. So basicly, he'd take next to nothing for the motor.

My question is should I boost the d15b2 after I swap to MPFI, or should I swap in the d16z6? If I sold the z6 tranny it'd probably come to the same costs, but with much more work swaping in a whole motor. My plan is to convert to OBD-1 anyways, since I have experience with uberdata, not turboedit, so ecu cost isn't that different.

swap the z6 use uberdata and boost it. i have a 91 dx that i put a z6 in and went obd1. while im just staying n/a with it, its still a better starting platform.

Turns out the swap includes the ecu, so I'll buy it regardless. For what he wants for it, I could part it out, break even and have a spare block to blow up.

I think I'll end up doing the full swap. I can figure out how to make the chassis full-hydro tranny using my 94 civic as a working model. I think I'll try boosting the crap outta it, since I'll have a spare bottom end to work with.
