Default SOHC, locking the rockers...removing LMA's.... any problems?

Im building sohc race engine and i have locked the rockers together. I am under the assumptionthat i can just remove the LMA's and the VTEC solenoid and block the solenoid off with a plate and that is it...

To anyone that has *ACTUALLY* done this, are there any problem with oiling or any related things with the removal of the lost motion assemblies?

I've got a full set of 99 type sh LMA's that I'm not using, they just sit in plastic in my tool box. I know a lot of b16 guys want these LMA's to cut cost down from buying type R LMA's. Pm with any questions!
