I know the Driven2Win team was held back initially because the cars were delayed from GM, but I don't see any points standings for the team.

Any updates on this?

Yea, even though Nelson was let go from the "company team" he (and Driven2Win) are still backed by GM. Ladwig took over the old chassis that was campaigned by Hoyos last year, with a Cobalt exterior now. S&W Race Chassis is doing the chassis work for both Hoyos, and Kubo (Hoyos FWD/Kubo RWD).

One of the guys I work with that has a turbo 4 car went to Milan Dragway in MI last wednesday and GM has the rig out there and had the track on lockdown till the wednesday test at tune time came around, and quess who was out there testing with the GM guys...........................................no one other then Nelson Hoyos.

Last i heard, nelson wasn't let go he just started a new team, and the cobalt marty is driving is a new car, bothwell motorsports that runs the garret turbo hot rod car still has the pro fwd cavalier and they run it in their testing sessions, the car might compete later in the season.

Yes that is correct. When I saw "campany team" means that he no longer drives directly for GM. But no directly form the marketing lady for GM, the chassis of Ladwig's ride is the one from Hoyos last season. Just has a new Cobalt shell on it.

Read the new issue of OverRev, they talk about it in there also.
