Default Recaro *****'s, What seats are these?

These seats were in my car when I bought it. I was told they came from a rally car and then the previous owner made mounts and put them in my hatch. Im thinking about having them recovered becuz there rather comfortable. So far all I can think of them being is Recaro N-joy's. Also, any idea of what it would cost to cover these things?

That's the seat model LS build from 77-79.
Back in the years we supplied this seat among other things to a TRANS AM / Firedbird special edition etc.

You have to spend approx. 800-1200 to make them like new.

holy ****, you think there 25+ years old? Is there anything that should be on the pans or anywhere? like a serial number or something like that? I already got the fabric for them and i found an upholstry(sp?) shop nearby that will cover em for 125 for the set.

The look to be the modular series made in the late 80's. You had a choice of 3 seat backs and 4 bases. LX, LS, and SR(LX had least amount of support, SR the most) for the backs and A, B, C, and D(A least amount of support, D had the most) for the base. If the seat base has adjustable under thigh support it is a LSC, if not, it's an LSB. They're great seats, I wish I didn't get rid of my my LSD.
