Vin cover-ups?
In Texas people video tape your VIN number at cars shows and then go to the dealership ,where a bunch of dumbasses work, and say they lost their key. Then, the said dumbasses, ask for their VIN and make them another key without asking for any sort of identification. Then your car gets jacked

whatever you use to cover yor vin. make sure its not permanent lke a sticker, but rather removable like a card. cause when you get pulled over you better remove the cover before the cops sees it, or else thats another citation.

i actually got pulled over a few weeks ago and the cop went to go look at my vin # and noticed that it was covered up. well the cop then said that it was illegal for me to have my vin covered up. i proceeded to tell him what the scenario was with the theives getting vin #s from dealerships (i work in the parts dept. at the subaru dealership in town lol) and he basically tucked his tail between and said "oh, ok well that makes sense, but be sure to not have that covered when you get pulled over next time" i just laughed and said ok.
