some real opinions on these tires
I know these arent "race" tires but i figure this is probably the most knowledgable and "professional" section of this board. Now I know a lot of people just write these tires off as junk because they are basically knock off's. but they have the identical tread pattern of the old Pilot MXX3 which in its day was a great damn tire. Does anyone have any feedback about this particular tire or this brand in general? This is the size I need for my wife's corolla because it came with aftermarket rims and the tires on them are getting worn. And for the money if theyre any good I would probably scoop them up. Comparable sized Azenis or Hankook RS2 are gonna run me about $300+/- a set of 4.

Wow. Talk about overselling a product....

Sorry that I don't have a specific answer to your question but I thought I would point out the following:
1. Most often if a car has 195 tires you can also use 205 tires which really boradens your tire choices.
2. It's not about how a tire looks, it's about the rubber.

i know that tread compound is a lot more important than tread pattern, thats why im trying to see if anyone has any hard info about these tires. im looking for something that is a really sticky and strong for cheap money, like the old Azenis 215. and its tough to find nondirectional performance tires

So why not buy some Azenis 215? Or for slightly more the Kumho MX?
What's wrong with directional tires?

cuz these are under $200 to the door and non directional lets you X rotate. I wish there was some way I could atleast see them or even just feel the tread but nobody local carries these. I will probably end up going with the Azenis or the RS2
