jus purchased a set of skunks 2 adjustable coilovers and will probably put them in some time next week. im gonna set them to 1.5 drop although i jus wanted to know how the ride is with these coilovers. i will be staying on stock shocks.. i know my only other choice for a drop was ractive coilovers.

Stiff, really stiff... stock shocks will make it very bouncy tooo... worst combination is stock shocks and skunk2...

thats kool thanks for the feed back. what coilover would got better with stock shocks?

 

your stock struts arent going to last with those coilovers very long

 

i doubt that any coilover will ride nice w/ stock shocks. in fact any spring that has a decent drop will still be a bit bouncy.

Yup, I rode skunk2's with kyb's and it wasn't horrible, but it wasnt' great

 

friend of mine has ground control coilovers on his stock shocks and their good but still get bouncy on big bumps n stuff. not as stiff though.anyways how low should i go on these coilovers? my mechanic says the lower the worse.

 

hmmm this sounds very familiar for some reason... didnt you have a thread exactly like this before? i explained all the aforementioned to you as well
