Front Lower Arm Bushings
I went to a 1/4 mile track yesterday just to get rid of my self labeled "14 second car/15 second driver".
I finally did it but that's not what I'm here to ask about. I noticed (like this topic hasn't been beaten to death before) serious wheel hop during all my runs. Played with tire pressures and nothing came about that. I mean, after I feel the car "hook" and go WOT, wheel hop. This was also the first time wheel hop occured in second gear.
After I got home, I decide to jack the car up just to see the suspension bits. I noticed that the front lower arms were showing signs of wear (compared to all the rest of the pieces anyway). Not sure if it's considered extreme wear (I should've taken a picture ...) but I'm just wondering, how difficult is it to get those bushings replaced? Can it be a DIY job? Or how long would it take if I took it to a shop?

Geez. 100K?!
The bushings "look" pretty cracked and abused compared to all the other pieces I inspected while crawling under the car. Definitely can't say they're worn for sure since I haven't had any experience crawling under my own car till I got the Integra. Oh well, if they "can" last 100K miles, I'm pretty sure it'll last through the wheel hopping that I put the car through. Thanks for the info!
