Default 2002 F4I IDELING QUESTION

I want to increase the ideling on my 2002 CBR F4I. The ideling switch is nowhere to be found on the left side of the bike. My friends told me that my bike might have been modified. Even if it was how would I go about to increase the ideling on this bike?

I have never worked on a f4i before, but have you taken off the left side fairing?

Sort of but not completely. We didn't think it was necessary because we thought it would look just like the pic in the owner's manual. So you saying that it could be inside the left fairing?

Its not necessary, its a black adjustment **** about the size of a dime that sits right about the the case on the left side of the bike. You can reach in and back it out. No fairing removal is necessary.

The black **** is nowhere to be found. My friends told me that I need to buy some sort of computer to adjust it. Is it true?
