NGK 7's still fine for my 22-24lbs of boost?

Default NGK 7's still fine for my 22-24lbs of boost?

Im using the BCP7ES-11's gapped at .028 gonna change to .026. Will 7's be okay? if not then which ones would you go to?

Whats the stock number for a colder plug like 8's or 9's? Napa, Autozone, Discount Auto Parts dont see model number but a number from NGK like 1095, 3330 ect.

I would say thats probably pushing the limits of that heat range...At least with my expierences anyway...But what do I know??

depends on the power you are pusing. I switched to 8's once I was in the 400-500 range. Anything above that IMHO i had 9's for.

ill be around 475whp @ 22lbs or so. is the next step from 7 a 9? for NGK's

anyone have a Part number for the 8's ? I run the BRK7ES now Witch is a advanced auto parts number 6097. I would like to get the numbers for the 8's

One way to find out is buy reading the plugs after a pass and comparing them with plugs of different heat ranges.

On my car running 20 PSI on 91 octane, I picked up 2mph by going from BPR6ES to BR7ES plugs, and another 1-2 mph going from BR7ES to BR8ES plugs. From the 6s to the 8s, all signs of detonation and plug overheating dissapeared and the car was much happier. The car is ~3000 pounds and running 115mph traps, to give you an idea of the power. I may try some 9s or 10s in the future and see if I can get some more trap speed out of it by more aggressive tuning.

Yep. But with 8s in, I drove it around for 2 weeks on the streets at 13 PSI and misfire issues never came up. not only that, but the car was getting 30mpg, which is about the best I have ever gotten. They seem to be working pretty well.

i run ngk 9's on my accord 7's would mis fire at .26-.30gap so i stepped to 9's and they been good to me and they come gapped to .32-.35 and i allways just leave them there i run msd to but H motors are not the same as B when i comes down to this

The chart is a little confusing. What plug am i looking for. Stock # 7173? Thats the only one in the same category as the BKR7E's.

Is there an 8 for the BCP's? Would the BPR8ES's work? i searched for BCPR8ES and it came up with these.

Well **** i just spent $30 on plugs. BKR8EIX Iridium plugs. 8 temp. yeah. Isnt there a standard NGK 8 series??

You are ok with that plug.

You are right if you go to ngks site and go to tech and call the 1800 number they will help you out tremendously i called and they asked what my setup was how much boost size engine very technical then they told me that i would either want to run

BKR8EIX OR BKR9EIX both are iridium and expensive he also said to be careful gapping them because you can break the tip off very easy.

I've always used the NGK 9 series plug. Mase recommends that for cars pushing over 400.

The park # from Summit Racing is NGK-5238. There like $2.3x a piece.
