I received it today and when i opened the bag was ripped open and the fittings were all through the box . It did not come with the Throttle body gasket or the studs to mount the throttle body , should it have? Also where do i get additional 1/8" npt fittings and plugs at ?
Are there any install problems i should know about before attempting to install , this is for a gsr engine.

you should have gotten a throttle body gasket. second you use all you studs from your gsr manifold. you can take them out by using 2 nuts together and take the stud out like that. third you should have gotten trhe npt plugs i did, go to your local hardware store i have seen them in home depot too, just take ur manifold and find the right one. as for install you wont be able to use idle air control valve i think it is but other than that its all cool, you will be going to the hardware store alot to get fittings so buy them now

sorry but, this is wrong.

all of your factory sensors bolt onto the edelbrock intake mani.

 

i wanst able to use mine there was no port so your wrong maybe it differs on manifolds which have different heads

i know for a fact that the Factory IACV bolts onto the back of the manifold.
dont tell me something that i "supposedly dont know"

 

which head do you have drift2004

my bad i got confuse with the part yeah you are right but i meant to say the fast idle valve because their are no ports in the side of the manifold where the throttle body is at
i got a b18b head

 

yea, i seen your old posts..

thats the Fast Idle Thermo Valve. it will open and close depending on coolant temp.. its like a small thermostat, and will allow differant amounts of air into the manifold, depending on coolant temp.

btw. throw that thing in the trash... it cause's way to many idle problems.

So 100% for sure i need to reuse my studs ? There isn't some certain size set of bolts i can just at somewhere?

The fast idle thermo valve is attached from the bottom of the throttle body not on the intake manifold. Some cars have FITV and some don't. Depend on what year your car is.

incorrect, certain models has the FITV attached to the intake manifold, mostly JDM. My first gen JDM b16a manifold had the valve bolted to the maniold not the throttle body. I ditched it easily when i got my victor X

but i have a b16a manifold that has the FAST IDLE THERMO VALVE attached to the manifold right under the TB. all first gen JDM b16a were that way, i can prove it with pictures if you REALLY wanna argue. I know the idle control valve is on the back side as well.
