Default Civic SIR Conversion + One Piece Headlights..???! A mystery

ok so i haven't really thought about this lately, but because of a scammer on ebay, a picture he had up brought it to my attention.

Were there any One Piece Headlights for the SIR front end conversion?.. most people argue that the corner lights fit more flush, but i'm sure i've seen it years back, namely about 4 or 5 years. I remember this dude in Europe with a Website and tons of pics of his SIR,and his headlights had to of been One piece, or at least it really looked like it. He also had tons of pics of his Fulle Red Sir Interior and i think it had white rims. That was the first impression of the SIR conversion for me, about 5 years ago, thats why i always assumed there was a one piece headlights, but maybe i'm wrong. This picture really makes the corners look too flush with the headlights, making me believe its one piece????

Here's the pic... Canpt be the Four door either..because they didn't have wrap around, unless the four door one pieces have been molded to fit.

Looks like 4dr to me. They are thinner. Also, the SiR lights protrude a little more. Notice the hood is still stock? My screen is a little dark here but it also looks like the guy is still using the USDM filler (is that what it's called?) between the headlights and the bumper.

good point... yeah your right, the filler doesn't look right either, doesn't come out enough on the sides.

Even if they are the 4 door headlights, i think its a cool i dea. I really have to find the rest of the pictres to get some more angles

thats 4 door JDM conversion. yes it had wrap arounds.

if you want it on a hatch or crx you need to weld on that frontend. fenders, hood, filler piece, rad support, and bumper cover.

don't feel like resize if it's a problem
back when it was blue, prolly the first nice ef i saw

now in it's dark state, what's up with this car these days?

He obviously changed the headlights from the jdm four door to the ef sir style lights now, ahh good lil car

Its definitly some custom work as "only" the sedan models came with the one piece lights. Sedan had different options than the hatches. AWD being one of the best things they offered.

yep. that's my car.

as some of you have said, it was custom work all the way. i welded/fited the hood and fenders. i still can't beleive that the old site is still up.

check it out here: http://pedrov.www5.50megs.com/welcome.html

over there you'll see the transformation of the car to fit the 1 piece headlights. and yes, they were from jdm a sedan front end with EF9 bumper.

WOW.. didn't realize this thread, been working on my hatch too much over the past two weeks

Dude.. i cant believe you posted up here.. didn't think you would be around anymore, or at least have the car ^_-

I remember seeing the blue hatch with the One-piece like 4-5 years ago, and it just poped into my head before i made this post. I think the one piece should have been on the EF9.. it definitely looks slammin! like it should have been there from the factory.

I think your car was the first i saw with an EF9 conversion., or at least that i payed any attention too.. loved it ever since

I wouldn't mind doing that if i can get my hands on another project....

So you have two EF's now?

i still have the same EF. it's the same. i got crashed when i had the 1piece headlights, and then switched to EF9 front end conversion.

and yes, i still have the car, and drive it everyday from home to kindergarden to work and back!!!!

i don't have a radio on my car, on it's place i have the Vtec controller to control the kickup point of my "radio"

I'm in the looks but for an AE86 or 240 Nissan. yes, for drifting learning and practice.

Must have been alot of work involved and I commend you on that but for some reason, the one piece headlights don't look right on the hatch. I can't put my finger on it though
