Default crx rear disc swap.

I've got a 91 crx and i'm throwing a da rear disc swap on it today. I read that the da e brake cables are too long on a crx and to just use the stock ones. Does that sound accurate with anybody who has done this?

I know you CAN use the 90-91 crx si e brake cables....but I'm not sure about the stock ones.

i doubt that you can use the stock ones if they're not the si cables... you can use the DA ones, but that's if you creatively route em. That's what i'v been reading on Honda-Tech

so u think the dx cables are way shorter than the si?

I dont think so, figure both go to the same location...i think its just based on chasis, not model

if your car is a DX and had drums you can't use the old e-brake cables. doesn't matter about length

You have to use rear disc brake, e-brake cables.

I believe the ends are different on the drum vs the disk cables

I dont understnad this? You have a 91si? But disc cables werent long(?) enough to meet da hubs? So u just cut them and didnt take them out?

Whats line lock?

yes just route the cables through the opposite holes that lead into the cab of the car. In other words route the dirverside cable through the passengerside hole and the passengerside vice-versa. That'll take up about another 2" if that. But I did it, and the DA e-brake cables have been working fine for me!
