JDM RSX TYPE R HID Beam patterns..
Hi,
I have installed the JDM RSX Type R HIDs and am having the ever so enjoyable beam pattern problem where the beam is higher on the right lense than the right one. Anyone know of any ways to adjust the beam pattern on these lights or on the stock USDM units? Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Michael.

Because the cars are R/H drive over in JDM land, and they drive on opposite sides of the road, the headlamps are designed to be aimed to the left instead of to the right like here. This is probably designed into the housing itself, therefore not really adjustable.
I have the same problem
adjustability to stock beamage is limited and it's hard to get it back to stock.
you just have to adjust it by lowering it as much as possible with the adjustment given! good luck!

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the replies. I have just adjusted the beam on the left as low as tollerable by other drivers. The right side, I have raised to compensate for the lower angle of the left light. I will continue to do incremental adjustments as I get out and drive around at night until I can find the right balance.
I purchased my set of Brand New HIDs and Blackhousings from a friend in Japan for about $1450 US, but I also had to pay about $80 in shipping costs. Regardless, I was trying to sell them before and no one offered me anything over $1000. Where are you guys when I am trying to sell parts?
Oh well, I am keeping them now that I have installed them and have seen how much better they project light... As well as how cool they look when you turn them on.
Try buying the used set from Yewson, they are worth it if you don't have a connection from a JDM honda parts counter.
