constant hissing noise
Almost all the time when I drive my car, and especially when I turn it off (only for about 45 sec), I hear a hissing noise coming from the passenger side/behind the dash. Also, my passenger side carpet is always soaked...could this be an a/c problem?
The heater core is under the passenger side dash and if that has a pinhole in it it would make a hissing noise and would soak your carpet. Check the fluid on the floor and see if it looks green and smells like antifreeze.
IT isn't an A/C problem b/c if that was leaking you would pass out from the fumes.

You know, I had this after I fixed my a/c, but I haven't noticed it after the first few days. I looked under there, but couldn't find the source. Only did it with a/c on. Cold. No liquids except condensation.
