can anyone tell me about the hx rims i hear there are like real light, but what size are they can anyone show me a pic of them. Need more info on these rims.

 

hx = 14" i think
i don know about light only had hx's for a week and drove on for 2 days. i think vx's are lighter and better.
13" VX

 

yeah HXs are 14"
they are pretty light actually, not as light as VXs, but easily the lightest OEM 14" rim

 

they're 14"x5.5" and weigh around 11 lbs. Made by Enkei. Using 195 Azenis on them would give you pretty good traction. But at 5.5 you'll always be limited by width. 195 is about as wide as you can reasonably go. This is the 96-00 HX. Not sure about the 01-05 HX rims.

I used to run HX rims with 195/60 R14 tires... The rims are 10.75 lbs. The VX rims are 9.5 lbs, I think

Also, the Mazda Miata came with rims that looked very similar to the (96-00) HX rims, but they were 7 spoke and were 14" X 6". Also made by Enkei, they look better IMHO. One guy on this site was using them on his EK hatch, IIRC. You might want to look into those too.

The 01+ HX rims are also 14" X 5.5" but are 10 spoke rims. Thought about running those too, but never got around to it. Now the hatch rolls (well sits, actually, not running yet) on Mugen RnRs

 

i have some on my car and i love em, stock look so thieves arent as attracted and light and tires are cheap as hell

 

i almost bought that rims for $130 with tires. i was so stupid because i did not get it from the junkyard.

 

lol i put my gf's 13" steelies.. the tires spin alot when i go fast :-|

The Vx wheels are 13*4 correct? I have a wheels that looks exactly like the Hx but has a 155/something 13. Heck it might even be 14 but the thing is thin. I want another one to run as my back wheels for drag.

 

hey were can i find these rims and what tires fit on these, tell me where i can get some or if anyone is selling some.

 

just got to look around for some or ask an old lady thats driving an hx if she wants to sell them. right now i have 185-60's on there but u can fit 195s

VX rims are 13" X 5"

Any of you guys ever think of using insight wheels? They are 14 X 5.5 like HX rims, but are lighter. Kind of hard to find though.

 

cna anyone send me some pic of them on a 92-95 hatch(possible red) want to know what they will look like on my car.

Hx wheels are the BEST Honda wheels IMO. Look awesome (Look like mini JDM 96 type r wheels)...extremely light weight and sticky tires are cheap.

what tires fit on the hx rims? are they good autox rims ,durable hard to find good tires for the hx rims every thing is 15 or up

my $.02 keep your vx's there lighter and only 1in smaller. therefore buying hx's is retarded when ur already rockin the same wheel but smaller and lighter

 

what tires fit the hx's?

Lots of good tires can go on the HX rims... most popular size is 185/60 R14
