Help with Toe Adjustment bolt 88 CRX Si !!!
I am trying to remove the compensator arm to replace the 17 year old bushings, I am down to the passenger side rear. Everything else came off without much drama, EXCEPT the bolt in the compensator arm that adjusts the toe. I have broke it loose and have backed it out some, but now it just spins
Here is a pic of the offending bolt (not my car, I found this in another unrelated thread)

TIA!!!
If the nut that is (was?) welded inside the body broke loose, you're in for some fun. If you can tell that the threads aren't stripped and that the nut is spinning, you'll have to cut a hole to get to it and put a wrench on it to hold it.
If it's stripped, you can try prying outward on the bolt any way you can while hitting it with an impact. Not too fast though, you'll need to let it "bite" on the threads that remain and back its way out.

same thing happened to my friend's integra when we were putting on his polyurethane bushings. The nut welded inside broke off and we had to torch a hole in just to hold it in place
good luck with that

I dont think the threads are stripped. Would you cut a hole from the inside?

Cut the hole , don't bother prying and messing with the mount....use a hole saw.
The threads aren't stripped its just the bolt is seized in the bushing and isn't backing out. You're mostlikely going to need a new bolt too.

No, I would go from the outside, underneath the bolt on the bottom of that "hump" it's mounted to. I would hondabond another piece back in place when you're done, to keep the threads from getting dirty or allowing water in there, etc.

But not meant to turn. I believe it's on a plate or something like that which runs in a slot or guides. I've never had to go behind there, that's just what I've seen peeking through the holes in the frames of all the other cars.
Either way, he's got to get behind there to grab something and keep it from turning.
