Don't buy from Edge Racing!!!!!
I called up Edge Racing on Thursday 5/5 to order their Flik Blast wheel with 205/50/R15 Falken Azenis RT615s. The add in Grassroots listed a package for $629 with Falken Azenis 615 written above the picture for the tire. Upon ordering the salesperson said that this price was for a "Matador" tire (never heard of it). A bit deceptive, I thought but whatever. He listed the price out the door with the Azenis at $794. Not quite as sweet of a deal as I thought, but still ok. I asked if my order would be to my door by Friday 5/13 (I had an autox school and event that weekend). He assured me that it would there!! I was even going to pay for 2 day or overnight if need be.
On the following Monday 5/9, I had seen any shipping info in my email. I call up Edge again. The customer service rep said that the order had not processed yet, but I would go out pretty soon. Again, I asked if my order would be to my door by Friday 5/13. Again, the rep said YES!!!
The next day, Tues 5/10 I still see no shipping email. I call Edge again. The "manager" at Edge now said that my order will not be to my door until "sometime" the following week!!!! Needless to say, I went off. :evil: I promptly told this "manager" that I had been assured twice that my order would be to my door by Friday 5/13. He said that they were backed up and could not process my order. I promptly cancelled my order. And now, I have to wait 3 days to get my credit card reimbursed.
Why tell your customer TWICE that you can deliver and not do it!!!! Now, I have to scramble to find wheels and tires for my autox car. Hopefully, Tire Rack can come through for me.
Moral of the story, don't relay on retailers like Edge Racing unless you want your merchandise next year.
