Default Ef project finished 1 week timeframe ( PICS )

Well here it goes,
So I got a sweet deal on two hatches. One is an 1991 si with a jdm b16 and a smashed body the other is a 1990 dx with a blown engine but an almost perfect body, So the brainstorming began. I decided to take the dx which I purchased for $300 and strip it. (nasty brown interior, Messed up panels, other various reasons to switch) Then I would take all the SI's Black interior, Suspension (tokico illuminas and GC coilovers), and brakes and put it into the dx body. Picked up the Si with the motor and suspension for $750. Also I would take the wiring harness out of the si and into the dx as well. I gave My self a week and a half to get the majority of this done, while still working full time.
Here is the si with the stripping already begun.
Evil Laughs in the background
Here she is with her heart pulled.
Me goofing off
Out with the old.
In with the new.
Right before her maiden voyage.

Now to add some tech to this. When I started her up she started no prob the first time. But after about 2-3 mins of driving the check engine light came on. Now it flickered when I put the key in, but it went out after a sec or so. I think it's just an o2 but not sure. I'm going to check it out later, but right now I'm beat. Let me know what you guys think. Flame suit is on so lemme have it.

Now for some eye candy

Ok so I just went out and checked the codes and it doesn't seem to be coming up with anything. If I go and drive it for a couple of minutes the light comes on and stays on. Any Ideas? Now when I shut off the ignition and turn it back on the light comes on for a split second but goes out and it only puts out a quick led flash on the ecu when doing so? Any Ideas? Suggestions? Thanks in advance

Nice job!

I really really really want to do an EF Hatch for my next project... I had one for my first car and miss it so much. I just love the way they drive and feel... like a go-kart!

Have fun with it!

Replace your o2 sensors and make sure they are wired correctly to the ecu

Sweet ,
That was going to be my first course of action. The kid before me said he was having some probs with that a well. Now why would they start to not work only after it has been running for a while? Maybe it has something to do with the heat?

I really haven't gotten to drive it all that much yet but I sure am excited about getting to take her for a more lengthly drive.

i am having that same problem but with a different engine. i get a code 1 and 8.. i have yet to get a new o2, and i already have a brand new distributor on it. my CEL light only comes on when i drive for like 45 mins or more, or if its really hot out. the strange thing is my CEL isnt on 95% of the time, but my ecu is still throwing codes..good luck though.
