how to install body kit
i just bought i body kit and want to put it on my self to save money but just wondering how they connect they don't have an bracket on them. any info on this well help my plan is to get it dry fitted and then send my whole car to get paint and the body kit off the car and then putting it together at my houes. thanks
I saw a epsiode of horsepower TV where the put it on and they put it on a marked where the holes would have to be drilled for it to bolt up and drilled holes in the fender. This was the front fender only I don't know about the side skirts and rear apron. I highly doubt it is very hard but I have never put one on.
I really suggest you let a proffesional mount it a body kit has usually been sitting for a while and figer glass flexs over time, so it takes a little work to make them mount right. If you just try to drill the whole and bolt it up, you will most likely end up having the kit look very off and not aligned correctly.
its up to you though
good luck

mounting it is one thing, finishing it up is another
most place would just rivet all the holes together, which is weak and ghetto, but again most ricer wouldn't figure it out until they have to remove a piece.
if you getting some knockoff bodykit, it's wouldn't fit without some sanding and fitting. The mold probably cranks out hundreds of copies every month.

basically take off your stock bumpers... line up the body kit with the body. and figure where you need to drill holes. then drill and bolt back on.. ive done it many times.. if you were in so cal id do it for you AHAHA
good luck!
