how hard is it to install climate control?
Once you have access to the top of the climate control disconnect the two electrical plugs. remove the screw and the linkage above the heater ****. You will still have two cables attached, trace them out and disconnect them from under the dash. It's ready to come out.
Good luck
Good luck

well,um hey why dont you sell it to me then?
but no it kinda simple to me really, just take out the center console, un-plug all of the connecters from the back as for the 2 lines in the top they are L-shaped on the end, so provided that you already unbolted the controle already, you'll see which way you have to tilt it out, putting one in is the same expect for in reverse order.

Shameless plug for my friend:

If it's just cracked, talk to CRX Toad, he has plates that go over the existing climate control. Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but worth a shot.

heh I bought a slightly cracked one on ebay to replace mine that was junk...I didn't know about unhooking the cables in the back(under the dash? in the engine bay? i still don't know where to unhook them on that side) that there was so much tension that it broke this one. I was very pissed about it. I'm going to re-do it because I still don't think the cables are correct (still seem to have tension), but I got a face plate from CRX Toad and am going to put that on to fix the new crack!
Devnull,...you should do a write-up on number 31! Hook us up...

Sorry I don't have time - just look in the service manual, it is really that easy.
The thing that most people do wrong is they try to pry it out of the front.
You need to take off the center console, take what ever is in the way off (radio, that storage box etc), then unscrew the front screws; then there is a screw on the bottom that attaches to a bracket ..... it is getting long already.
Just take your time and remember, "if you have to pry, bend, or force anything you are doing it wrong."
Oh btw, it really helps if you disconnect the gauge cluster and unbolt the dash and slide it forward a bit. Esp. to get the cables disconnected
