Confused about paint?
I am looking for dupli-color/plasti-kote touch up paint for my Vogue silver metallic 99 Civic and when I go to both of there websites that color does not exist, The only color that is listed is: NH623M Satin Silver M and the color code for my car is NH583M. Why is that? Is there a color that is close? When I look up the paint for a 2000 Civic there are 3 different color silvers for that but none are what I am looking for.
NH623M Satin Silver M
NH638M Starlight Silver M
RP31M Signet Silver M
What should I do?
Does this color look close to the color of my car: This is suppose to be starlight silver

Honestly... two different shots. Different lighting, different cameras. It will be impossible. You could easily photoshop either to match perfectly... if both cars were in the same shot, it'd be a lot more definitive.
Just go to a paint supply store for body shops and have your paint "blocked" and buy the smallest amount they will mix for you - that's what I did.

Then head to a paint or body shop to have the color matched, otherwise it will be off. Last time to get one can for a whole fender it cost me about $15.

1 regular size rattle can gave me 2 or 3 coats on my fender, if that helps you at all.

I wish I was too. That is a really good price. How much would it cost to repaint the whole car the same color? It is really expensive down here.

just go to a body shop, give them the paint code on your door and they will order the exact paint for you car.
People, don't make this so complicated, trying to match **** with spray paint and stuff. Just get the original stuff!!!
