Default Megaphone Style exit for race header What is this ideal for?

Is the horn style open header for Drag or Road tracks.. Is this for Tone or sort of spark arrest? Exospeed.com bisimoto

When implemented properly a megaphone can augment the powerband broadening it and filling in gaps.

It is most often used in drag racing when no mufflers are not required but can be used in road race applications

can you put an exhaust of the appropriate size on after the megaphone and still get good results from it?

the use of this smoothens the curve on power? What about noise is the thing just hollow or what? and is this only a weld on aplication?
