steps
1) locate a place that sells them
2) have moeny or credit card available
3) request the specified part
4) pay for them
5) install them and vuala

there is no way to take it out and still have fully functional and legal lights

i would do that but i can't find the ones i am looking for. i can find lots of red and white tails but all the ones i have found have the red around the outside and i don't want that, i want solid white clear on top and solid red on the bottom. like these

now if only they were for sale.

=Looking at the picture above=

You know what? what if you flipped those lights around (LIke left on right and right on left... but upside down) They'd be just like the 98-00 tails.

Nope according to the auction they are "Euro styled"

Everything is Euro/JDM these days....... How about the "JDM headlights for your Silverado on Ebay, I always laugh at that.

i've seen those ones before... i'm looking for stock styling, something that looks exactly like the 99-00 tails but flipped over for the 5th gen, i know they exist i've seen them in several magazines on cars and on pictures on the net but i've never seen them for sale. so many come close but not quite.

hmm, you could always just buy the clear tails and get some red stained glass paint and voila ... you've made your "Si" tails

Yeah I already told up a few posts that the tails you want are the clear ones and then someone paints the other half red.
