Default Headlight Problem on Stock 89 CRX Si

When I bought the car, at about 141,000 from the original owner, the headlights worked great.

Both lo-beams and both hi-beams came on no problem.

Driving home one night with my lo-beams on, they went on. I put on my hi-beams, but two bulbs, and made it home.

I replaced the two shattered lo-beams, and all the lights seemed to work for at least a few days.

Then the lo-beam on one side stops working, despite the fact that the bulb and fuse are fine. Then about a week later, the one of the hi-beams on the OTHER side gives out.

So now to get 2 bulbs on, I have to drive with my "brights" on, though its just 2 bulbs now instead of 4 like it should be.

What should I start looking at/replacing in order to perhaps get things back to normal.

So far I've fixed my brakes, and a few other minor things, but I'm really stumped on most things electrical.

I've since pulled and checked the non functioning bulbs, they both have complete glass and appear to have complete filaments. Should I still replace them, they're cheap so ist worth a try.
