Tuners: What are the MINIMUM laptop system requirements to run Uberdata?
I'm trying to do an Uberdata setup this summer, and save money wherever possible. My sister's old Sony VAIO laptop is a Pentium I MMX laptop with Windows 95 I believe. It also has a serial port.
Can I run the "Ostrich" with it, by using a USB conversion cable? I know nothing, I searched a decent amount though.

That'll work. Its not real intense software. Just converts a bunch of pretty graphics and numbers into binary for you. I prefer a serial ports over the usb adpaters, sometimes they cause problems.
