Default crx insurance vs eg hatch

is there a big difference in insurance rates between the crx and eg hatch?

depends on alot
call a few companies.

for me and my company its would be more for EG *being newer and higher theft*
some companys see the CRX as a sports car while even others see it as a sports car to young drivers but not older ones *my dad if he was 20 hed pay load more for his rex but him being 49 he gets it near free*

so pick up teh phone

Travellers insurance listed my 91 CRX SI as a high performance car with a surcharge, IIRC somewhere between 15 and 20 percent. My swapped 91 HF has no surcharge, since, even with only 2 seats, it's slow in stock form. YMMV, check with your insurance company.

mine didn't change when i went from DX to Si, but I don't think they asked either...they prob don't know the difference.

Your going to have to get on the phone and actually call insurance companys to get quotes... HT isn't an insurance agent... we just talk cars here

my insurance went up 3 dollars going from a 90 Si hatch, to a 91 STD hatch. What a bunch of crap, even though its only 3 bucks lol
