Default '95 Accord Airbag Brain

So the SRS light has been on for sometime. Finally took the car to Honda, and they found out that the airbag "brain" is bad, so the airbags WILL NOT deploy in an accident. They said the part is about $400.00 and labor 2 hours=$150.00 SCREW THAT I should be able to do it myself. Anyone had this problem. Dealer also said i can pull the part from a junkyard, as long as the airbags did not deploy. Anyone know where the "brain" for the airbags is on this car. '95 LX accord sedan.
Thanks
