Default replacing rear subframe

would i be able to install a type r rear subframe on a eg ( i think i can, just making sure.)?

how hard is it to DIY and would i have a problem w/ tear outs when i had a rear sway bar (preferably st sway bar).

dont burn me to bad, just tring to set up my rear suspension right, i just want to do the job once.

If you can weld it probably won't be too hard. You have to drill out all of the original welds, then pop the old one off and weld up the new one. It has to be 100% perfect though, or it can really screw your alignment up.

Why are you going ot do this if you haven't already torn out your subframe? I'd look into the ASR reinforcement and sway bar. (http://www.a-spec-racing.com)
