Default civic Ex sway bar in DX?

how would I mount an 98 EX front sway bar into my 98 DX hatchback? Do I need any special brakets, or does it bolt right in?

if your taking it exactly from one car to another then you should be using the same brackets, bolts, etc.

given that you already have lower control arms to take the sway bar.

the LCA's from the EX and DX are the same. Only the Si is different because the Si bar is thicker and connects to the LCA

So it will bolt right in to my lower control arm? I have the stock suspension with ground controls and AGX's..

As long as you have #13 in the pic with the nut and the rubber thingy, thats what connects the bar to the LCA:

The EX obviously does and the Si is different because it is stamped steel vs cast. If you want to put the ex bar on you will need to get the lower control arms d bushings, brackets, bar and the endlinks.

You need:
LCAs
Sway Bar
Sway Bar Mounts
End Links
All the nuts, bolts & bushings shown in that pic

so what about the aftermarket sway bars for the DX? They dont require you to install EX LCAs.... Do they include a bracket or something?

They include brackets that clamp onto your existing LCAs (from what I've seen in the past)...

Sorry, I didn't mean to steal your thunder. I just read the question, and quickly posted my response...

It doesn't work that way. The aftermarket bar & end-links are designed to matched those brackets. They could connect to the LCA in totaly different places that won't allow an OEM bar to work. In fact, some OEM bars only work w/ specific LCAs & end-links...
