Hi All, My friend wants to sell me his Ek hatch 96 red dx 5spd.... i know pictures would help but sorry. Its salvaged title all stock except its dropped and has some noname 17's and camber kit has AC and the body is cool normal wear and tear nothing major at all. The interior is cool.One seat is ripped and the passanger side window doesnt roll down but over all its in decent shape but has 175,000 miles is $2500 a good price? KBB says 2673.00 for a clean title but being salvaged i dont know if thats a good price would 2k ok...just want some insight?

 

My brother bought a salvage-title car a couple years ago and had nothing but trouble trying to get it registered. The money he saved because it was salvaged totally didn't make up for all the headaches and hassle he went through.

That said, he lives in New York and it might be easier where you are. But I'd rather just pay a little more money and have a clean title that won't give me any trouble. Just MHO though.
