Default Manual Door lock Swap

I am looking into purchasing a new set of doors for my 88 std Hatch soon and I need to know if there is a way to swap over the locks ONLY, not the handles and locks, to the new Si doors with the painted handles. I want to be able to maintain the same key that operates the hatch and ignition and make the doors use the same as well. Does anybody have any experience with this?

yeah, you can easily take apart the lock mechinism in the door

http://www.norcalcrx.org/library/

download the workshop manual, i do believe there is a page detailing the process.

basically, remove interior door panel, unscrew door handle, pop off the lock rod and opening rod, remove handle, pop off C clip, remove lock.
