How Do You Replace Rotors on 90 Accord?
Sup fellas,
I need to replace the front rotors on my 90 honda accord, Is this difficult? Can someone give me instructions on how to do this?
I see the rotors have four screws near the center, is that all there is to it?
Thanks

its not as easy as a civic or an integra because you have to separate the front wheel bearings like an Acura vigor. This is not an easy thing to do and you have to have a slide hammer
I tried to do it on my 90 accord. After 4 hours of hammering, I ended up replacing the whole knuckle. Both sides. Good luck with the task. I would not try it once again without the good press.
woo hold on there you do not need to do anything with bearings,,,
remove center axle nut, remove caliper from mounting bolts and lay it to the side, remove lower ball joint nut, separate joint from knuckle , slide axle out of hub as a matter of facts take it out of car it will easily slide through the fork,, on the back side there are 4 bolts either 10mm 12 point or 12 mm 6 point, remove those 4 bolts, now if you are replacing rotors get a big hammer and hit on the rotors they will come out some time if they are rusted in it takes a few big hits,,anyho that will remove rotrand hub assembly once out of car remove the 4 14mm bolts that bolt up rotor to hub once those are off, take rotor out , make sure you use a good 6 point socket to remove the 14mm bolts , before you put it back together clean knockle surface where hub slides in ...any questions holler

Do yours have press on rotors? I do on my 1996 Coupe. They were a bitch to remove last week, I'd really get some powerful tools and someone with some know-how.
