Gsr Cluster in eg..wit plastic shield?

I just finish wiring my gsr cluster to my 92 hatch, i have seen one writeup where the person cut the whole front shield and black part off and just left the guages open, my question is Has anybody mounted this keeping the shield?? TIA

u have to custom make one

or trim your cluster to fit the eg one

or trim your cluster and dash to make it fit

This comes up WAY too often. Make one from plexiglass. Thats what I did.
