Do you have a seat belt? If you don't have a seat belt, it's not legal.

Then yes, I don't see why I wouldn't be legal.

LOl, thats funny though. IT would be funny if a cop pulls you over and tries to write you a ticket.

As far as I know all ya need is basic controls, a windshield, seat and seatbelt and you are legal in most states.

im supprised its not illegal in california with all the gay laws. if i got pulled for some bs excuse like no interior i would be pist. but you could just tell them some one just jacked your car and striped the inside and you got it back so they should be worring about the criminals in your town. youll be fine

Exactly. Let's think of it. Carpet, sound deadning tar, backseats, all that stuff is luxury equipment, (not really luxury) but you don't need it. Stick with the basics and you'll be just fine.

<shakes head> Amazing.

You're going to regret runing like that. Why would you take a semi civilized, already loud econobox and turn it into one of the most uncomfortable things in the world to drive? I had my back seats out of my car for 3 days to move some stuff, and it was horrible. The road noise is insane and if you have an exhaust, count on hearing that every second of the trip.

if it helps you any, my buddy in mesquite drove around like that for about 6 months before he was able to get everythingto put it back together, he didn't even have the ignition switch and everything together so it would just hang down bouncing on his knees, he got pulled over cause he had a warrant for a ticket he forgot about, cops took him to jail and let me come get his car instead of impounding it, and they never said a word about him having no interior.

Is the dash still in? They could possible cite you with removing the zVIN tag.

yea its riveted to the dash. not the car....when u pull the dash out...its comes out with the dash...nothing involves me tampering with it in any manner

am i supposed to take the vin plate out and put it onto the frame of my car??
