If you are getting low on oil avoid driving your car, if you don't have oil in an engine and drive 1 mile it will cause damage. i would take another car(just to be safe) to the store grab 2-3 quarts(hell why not) and fill up till you are half way up to second hole (while cold) or somewhere around there. make sure the drain bolt is on tight and check the oil filter(back of block usually a bright color it stands out)

do an oil change and monitor the oil level and see if its burning or leaking...also when u do a change see how long it takes to turn black...if it turns black very fast, your getting blowby and the motors not good.....if it stays clean for a while and doesnt burn or leak it then the kid lied about the oil change...just change ur oil

use thicker oil maybe, your motor is burning oil or maybe your oil pan is cracked, i can be plenty of things. what kind of oil do you use? 10-30?

check the drain plug, oil pan gasket and other things that could cause it to leak. may not be burning it but it could be leaking somewhere
