just did valve adjustment but its still loud

Default just did valve adjustment but its still loud

i just did a valve adjustment on my b16
exhaust .007in
intake .006in
but my intake side is still just as loud before i adjusted them
and its only the intake side that is loud!!

what causes it to make the loud ticking sound ???

are they stock cams and valve springs, are u sure u made sure the clearance was tight and snug? U SHOULDNT BE ABLE TO MOVE THE FEELER GAUGE AROUND THAT MUCH. IMO

everything on the motor is stock

all the locknut are torque to 14lb
triple checked each valves with feeler gauge b4 putting the cover back

yep i put my feeler guage on .006in . when it got tight enough to move it out. i would try to use the .007in to see if it would go in

make double sure thats the right size for that motor, and make sure u got the right feeler, i dontknow what else could be the problem...

i did
was looking at the helms b4 i did it and wrote all the info on paper
may take it in somewhere to a pro to let them do it if i cant figue it out

was hoping someone would mention that! yes, fuel injectors tend to tick....what sort of condition are they in?
