40A Ignition Fuse keeps on blowing out. WHY?
I have a 97 ek coupe and I was commuting home from work just las friday and my car suddenly dies. I push my car over to the shoulder and troubleshoot my car with a friend. We figured out that it was my Ignition Fuse (40A) that is located under the hood, next to the battery. I managed to get a new one from HONDA. Just last night, my car died again, with the same problem. I temporarily fixed the problem with a bootleg fuse holder that I bought from Walmart, using a cheaper 30A fuse.
I have been told that there is a bad ground somewhere but can't seem to find it.
I need help cuz I can't figure out what is causing this short. I don't know what/where is drawing a lot of current causing the fuse to blow. Please HELP!! Thanks....
